A student or staff member in Ms. Savage's 3rd grade class at Jefferson School in the Rocky Ford School District has tested positive for COVID. Through the contact tracing process, the class was identified as close contacts and are being required to quarantine from Sep. 14 through Sep. 24. RFHS 9-12th grade students who plan on attending the homecoming dance on 9.17.21 will be required to take a rapid COVID test prior to entering the dance. Students 17 and under will need parent permission. Forms are in the office. This additional step is to guard student health and help mitigate any future quarantines. Testing will be on 9.17.21 from 6:45pm - 7:30pm. Students must be at the dance by 7:30pm in order to be admitted.

Due to the complicated nature of a football game between an 11-man team and an 8-man team, Rocky Ford School District and Crowley County School District made a mutual decision to cancel the game this Friday, September 3rd. RFJSHS will continue to look for a game to add to the schedule. We want to thank the fans and spectators for their understanding.

The Rocky Ford School District is excited to announce the first public meeting to discuss the $40 million BEST Grant and upcoming bond measure. The meeting will be at Washington Primary School on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 7 pm. This is an informational meeting giving citizens a chance to ask questions and tour the WPS facility.
