All Rocky Ford Schools will remain on lockout (secure) status for the remainder of the school day, per the recommendation of the Rocky Ford Police Department. Students will not be allowed to leave until regular dismissal time. Dismissal will occur at the regular time and buses will run as usual.
The Student of the Week lunch that was scheduled today at Washington Primary School has been cancelled.
An unarmed individual entered Rocky Ford Jr/Sr High School this morning, and did not check in at the office. He was confronted by administration and escorted out of the building. RFJSHS initiated a lockdown and the police were notified. All schools remain on a modified lockout at this time. No students/staff may come or go from campuses at this time. All students will remain in the building for lunch and recess.
WPS/JIS: Just a reminder that we have Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17th. Watch for your reminder letter for the date and time we have you scheduled. Conferencing with your child's teacher is so important for your child's success, so if you need to reschedule please contact us.

*JEFFERSON INTERMEDIATE* JIS Student Council is sponsoring their annual Food Drive! The event starts today, November 6th and runs until Thursday, December 21st. Non-perishable items will be collected in classrooms and will be donated to the food pantry to help those in need. Please send only non-perishable items with your students, and all items must be in their original packages. Please do not take individually wrapped items, (oatmeal packets, fruit snacks, etc.) out of their boxes or bags. Thanks for your support!

**Jefferson Intermediate** The annual Chili Chip Supper is this Friday, October 27th, at JIS from 5-7pm. If you have signed up to bring donated items, please have them at JIS by Thursday, October 26th. Tickets are $7 each and will be available at the door. There will be food, games, a bake sale, a cake walk and a haunted house!! Hope to see you there!
