The Rocky Ford School District Central Offices will be moving to the new K-12 building this October. Our current office is decorated with many pieces of beautiful student art from the 1980’s & early 1990’s. Because our new space is small, we need to re-home the art. Please look through the list of artists and call us at 719-254-7423 if you would like to take possession of your art piece or a relative’s art piece.

RFSD is pleased that community members utilize the track and fitness trail at RFJSHS. We would like to ask people to refrain from using the track and fitness trail during school hours, Monday - Thursday from 7:45am-4:00pm.
Reminder: There will be no school for Rocky Ford School District on Thursday, August 15, 2024. We will resume our regular class schedule on Monday, August 19. RFJSHS Volleyball will host Walsenburg on Thursday, August 22 at 4:30pm. Rocky Ford Elementary (WPS & JIS) will hold Back to School Night on Monday, August 26 from 5-6pm.

Welcome Back Rocky Ford Jr/Sr High School students!!! We are so excited for the new school year, which starts tomorrow, 8/12/24. Doors open at 7:20 and breakfast is served when you arrive! First bell is at 7:40a, please report to the gym.

Student Orientation and Meet and Greet for all WPS and JIS students is today between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Students can come in and meet their teachers, see their classrooms and bring in school supplies.
The Junior/Senior High School orientations are today at 8:00a OR 2:30p. The orientations are the same and are for all parents of students in 7th - 12th grades. We will be in the gym. Please enter through the west doors - the entrance to the gym. See you soon!
The first day of school for Rocky Ford School District is Monday, August 12, 2024. If you have not registered your student(s), please do so before Monday. The online portion of registration can be accessed using the following link: https://rfsd.almastart.com/. There are additional registration forms that can be picked up at the school your student attends.
