Regional Wrestling will be held at Otero College on February 9 & 10, 2024. Below is information about the event.
SCHEDULE:
2/9 - Gates open at 3pm and Session 1 wrestling begins at 4pm.
2/10 - Gates open at 7:30am and Session 2 wrestling begins at 8:30am. After Session 2, all spectators must clear the arena. Session 3 will begin at 1:30pm.
PRICES:
Each session is $10 for students (K-12) & Senior Citizens and $15 for adults.
An All Session Pass is available for $20 for students & Senior Citizens and $30 for adults.

With the cold temperatures coming, Rocky Ford School District is pleased to provide an update on the heating issue at Jefferson School. The boiler system was repaired and the system was functioning well by the end of the day Wednesday. Therefore, the building is ready for the upcoming cold spell with plenty of heat from the regular heating system.

Jefferson School will continue to use temporary heat tomorrow, Wednesday (Jan. 10). If all goes well with the scheduled repair, the boiler system will be turned back on by the end of the day on Wednesday. School will run on the normal schedule for Jefferson on Wednesday. Thursday, Jan. 11, there will not be any school for K-6 students, as scheduled on the academic calendar, in order for elementary teachers to have time to complete the required READ plans.
